This year, I made a whopping four vids! That is five less than 2012 and seven less than 2011. Yikes. By release date:

Less Plot, More Stripping (Magic Mike)
Brush Your Shoulders Off (Matilda)
Crazy For You, Baby (Victorious)

The Middle (How To Train Your Dragon)

My favorite video this year (of my own):
Brush Your Shoulders Off, for reasons that were addressed in the other vidding meme I just did. I worked really hard on it and I think it's quite representative of what I can do when I sit down and vid like a little vidding squirrel.

My least favorite video this year:
Probably Crazy For You, Baby. I think the idea was much more exciting in my head, and the execution was kind of blah.

Most successful video:
It's hard to measure this now, since my vids are reposted sometimes and it's hard to measure views vs comments, but if I had to guess I'd say Brush Your Shoulders Off in terms of reaching my full potential (and reaching an audience with my intentions -- hooray for that!), and Less Plot, More Stripping in terms of general flailings. You can't really miss with naked Channing Tatum.

Video most under-appreciated by the universe, in my opinion:
I can honestly say this year that I think they all got the attention they deserved.

Most fun video:
Less Plot, More Stripping by a landslide.

Video with single sexiest moment:
Less Plot, More Stripping, at 1:04 and 1:45. Or, you know, all of that vid.

Biggest vid fail:
Only finishing one vid after Festivids 2012. It was completely because I was battling a boatload of mental health issues and just was never in the right mindset for vidding, but it's still hard for me to get past it and accept it as a valid excuse. I just have so many ideas, and it's disappointing when I start working on so many and only end of finishing 2% of them. This is something I'm definitely still struggling with, but I'm starting to see some improvement.

Hardest video to make:
The Middle, in the sense that I was attempting to make a superhappyfun vid while I was incredibly depressed. Crazy For You, Baby, in the sense that most of the footage of Jade and Tori is either them yelling (unusable talkyface) or glaring at each other (too much of the same thing).

Most unintentionally telling video:
This is going to sound strange, but Less Plot, More Stripping. It kind of started out as "look at all the sexy!" and turned into "This is... a montage of the only redeeming parts of the entire movie!" So it kind of ended up being my fix-it vid for this movie when it didn't quite start out that way, and might not necessarily come across that way (though I did attempt to hit people over the head with the title).

The things I've learned this year:
I need to vid things I feel emotionally attached to. This seems like a given, but most of my vids are of shows/movies I enjoy, but don't necessarily connect with in a unique way. This is partly because I think I've pretty rarely connected with a source in that way since I've started vidding, but now that I have, I'm excited to explore myself through vidding.

For 2014:
I always mention the Disney princess vid in this section. It's probably still not going to happen this year, but in continuation to the last question, I think this year will spring some vids that are more about me and my connection to the world moreso than my relatively distant view of a source or character (which is what most of my vids have been so far... not a bad thing, but change is nice sometimes, right?). So that means I will almost definitely have one or more incredibly thought-out Peter Petrelli vid(s), plus maybe my mental health struggle vid I've been working on here and there, as well as the other WIPs I started before Festivids. Another thing I say every year is that I'd like to make a Challenge vid for VividCon. I hope to finally do that this year! And maybe collab on something. I feel like my plate is already full for this year, because I have a backlog of ideas I wasn't able to get out during Creative Brain Block 2013. So... yay!
