I haven't updated this since June, so I'm going to do it now. I've watched a shitload of new shows since then (or maybe it just seems like it). I'm italicizing my comments from June and putting N/A next to the ones I haven't gotten to yet. The new comments will be normal-looking. Posting this now so I don't lose it, but soon it'll be edited and in alphabetical order. Leave me a comment if you want to second anything or if you have recommendations that aren't already here!

-Skins (season 3): N/A
-Merlin In June I had only seen episodes 1-8 of the first season. Since then I've completed the first season and started the second. The end of season one was brilliant and awesome. I've only seen the first two episodes of season 2, and I"m really not a fan so far. The first episode was very intense and some of it made me uncomfortable because one of the characters was really not himself at all, and that extends into the second episode. The first episode was good, it just seemed like there were new writers or something, and it was weird. The second episode was FORCED FORCED FORCED and it pissed me off. The producers of Merlin have not been true to the legend from day one, and that's fine. Don't watch the show if that's what you're looking for. But all of a sudden, in 2x02, they decide that a relationship from the legend that has not been built up AT ALL is going to just... happen. Literally, these two characters have spoken maybe twice before on the show, and now they're in love. Apologies for the rant, but until I can bring myself to watch the rest of season 2, I can only be comfortable with recommending season 1.
-Supernatural (season 3 and half of season 4): I've been TERRIBLE about this. I have a good start on season 3 but I've been so busy trying to watch other shows I've almost abandoned SPN completely besides reruns on the CW. Sorry, Winchesters! EDIT: This is still true. Whoops!
-Kings: N/A
-Medium: Probably not going to watch this, tbh. Didn't get much backage from you guys ;)
-Due South: Skipped the first two seasons as recommended, and watched the first couple episodes of the 3rd. For a 90s Canadian show, this show rocks. It's not for everybody, but it has an interesting, subtle sense of humor that you don't see too much anymore.
-Robin Hood: Watched a few eps and thought it was just alright. Last night, someone convinced me to keep watching though, so I'll give it another try. Any favorite episodes to pimp me into it?
-Firefly: Sgkhrghg. This show. I could watch it over and over and over. First of all, seeing Alan Tudyk playing with plastic dinosaurs is funny after watching him play the villain of all villains on Dollhouse (and apparently he was pretty vicious on V, too). Secondly, Jewel Staite played my favorite character (Catalina) on my favorite show (Space Cases) as I was growing up, so seeing her 5 years older and more developed as an actress. Thirdly, I became a fan of the kickass Summer Glau when I watched Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles (which I'll get to later), and she's awesome in this too. And if you're a fan of Nathan Fillion or Adam Baldwin or ANYONE in the cast of Firefly, AKA the most badass cast to ever exist, you will love this show. Oh, and if you're a Joss Whedon fan too, maybe. But you don't have to like Buffy or Dollhouse to like this one-- there's a completely different feeling to it. Just... watch it. I can't really go into the plot without giving it away. It's 14 episodes and was canceled far too soon, so if you don't like it (though you will), you won't be wasting a lot of time. Make sure to watch the series before Serenity, though!
-Buffy: I've watched probably more than half of this out of order, so I started from season 1. Still working through it, but I'm a Whedon fan, so I don't think I even need to tell you my opinion on this one (though I will say that so far it's actually my least favorite Whedon show).
-Pushing Daisies: Watched the first couple episodes. I know everyone's going to go into shock over this because I haven't met a single person who's watched it and not been enamored with it, but I wasn't the biggest fan. Maybe I just need to see more of it? It was very cute and saturated, though, and I understand the appeal.
-Lost: This. Show. Is. The. Best. Ever. I know some people who don't watch it on principle, but seriously. Throw that principle in the toilet. Forget that LOST fans are crazy and will kick you in the nads if you so much as cough during a new episode (though I understand why now). Stop thinking that it's just a show about people being stranded on an island, and what can you possibly do with that for 6 seasons? I'm telling you, SCRAP ALL YOUR PRECONCEIVED NOTIONS. You should watch it because it's a genuinely BRILLIANT show. If you like mysteries and mindfucks and movies like Momento, you should watch this show. And pay very close attention.
-Numb3rs: Checked out a few episodes, not really that into it. It wasn't bad, just too much math for my Emerson student brain to handle (which I should have thought of when I saw the title of the fricken series!)
-Chuck: N/A
-Reaper: This show is HILARIOUS! Great mixture of comedy and solemnity (but mostly comedy). I do like that it has a plot arc where it could be considered both serial and episodic-- as in, I could watch it from the beginning and really understand everything, or I could watch the latest episode and not understand everything but not be totally confused, either. Kinda sad this show is probably not getting picked up for another season. :[
-Veronica Mars: N/A
-My So-Called Life: N/A
-Weeds: N/A
-Doctor Who: Stillllll need to watch this. Where do I even begin? Someone tell me.
-Torchwood: Watched part of an episode today, actually, and was totally confused. I think I need to start this from the beginning of the series, or at least the beginning of an episode! Edit: UM or watch Doctor Who first.
-Leverage: Watched an episode, and really liked it! Parker is fucking badass. Would not be opposed to seeing more of this.
-Scrubs: N/A
-Lie to Me: N/A
-Mad Men: N/A
-Big Bang Theory: This show was tailor-made for me. Nerd jokes all over. Sheldon is fucking ridiculous (and yes, the guy who plays him really DOES sound like that in real life). I personally think it's funnier when you can understand what they're saying, but it's still quite funny when you don't.
-The Middleman: N/A
-Heroes: Fuck this show in the ass. I don't think I've ever despised a show as much as I despise Heroes. I saw a bunch of first season episodes a couple years ago and it was just okay. I watched one and a half episodes of the fourth season and couldn't take any more. The plot arcs I've seen are ridiculous and terrible, the characters are nauseating, and Hayden Panettiere makes me want to put my skull through a cheese grater.
-House: LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE this show right now! This is the one show on the list I've seen so far where I feel like I need to watch the entire series. It's totally weird that I'm so in love with this show now, because I've watched various episodes before and never saw what was so special about it. Now I know: HOUSE BEING AN ASSHOLE is what's awesome about it. And I LOVE the friendship he has with Wilson, because House shows a side to him that he shows to no one else. I can't even handle it. I usually hate doctor shows, trust me. But this one really has me now.
-Smallville: I'm considering taking this off my list after seeing the laughable promos for new episodes. Are the first few seasons good?
-Greek: Afraid of getting into this because of no ABC Fam at school, though I suppose I could find it online.
-Degrassi: The Next Generation: Watched a few episodes of it and it's definitely my guilty pleasure. I probably won't watch the whole series because there are SO MANY EPISODES, but I watched a bunch online and try to catch it whenever it's on TV. Any really spectacular episodes I should be watching?
-Arrested Development: This show is hilarious. I've only watched the first few episodes but I have the entire series on DVD, so I'll have a better opinion once I start with it again.
-Gossip Girl: Halfway through the first season and I like this in the same way that I like the OC. I know it's not the most intelligent or realistic television in the world, but everyone needs their guilty pleasures. I like this a lot. I have the biggest crush ever on Leighton Meester, so that doesn't exactly make the show hard to watch. This is one I want to catch up on soon so I can watch the newer episodes and understand them better.
-Summer Heights High: N/A
-Stargate Atlantis: Really really really like this. Same as Buffy, I have yet to watch this in order, but more and more people keep telling me to. I'm more hesitant about getting into longer running shows that are already finished because I'm more in a rush to get caught up with shows that are still on the air, so I'll probably put this one away for summer.
-Daria: N/A
-Clone High: N/A
-Star Trek TOS: I'm sorry, how can you not adore this show? It's the original Star Trek. At least TRY it.
-Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles: One of my favorite canceled-too-soon shows. I've never been a fan of the Terminator franchise, but TelevisionWithoutPity.com was all over this and I gave in, and I'm so glad I did. The special effects on this show are fantastic, and the cast is really brilliant. It only lasted two seasons, and I've only seen the first so far because the second is so fucking expensive, but I finally found it online, so I'll be able to watch it soon. I've only heard good things though, so I don't think this show pulled a "Merlin".
-Stargate SG-1: N/A
-Stargate Universe: N/A

This weekend was full of awesome! EVVYs were great (one more show to go in two weeks!), last night was great (from cops breaking up the Kevin Bright party to huggasms to ridonkulously long 7-11 trips to eating Dibs and watching Always Sunny with some of my bestest friends), and today was extraordinarily lazy. Now I'm going to watch Robin Hood and chill out before cracking down on finals.

I did this about a year ago and it was pretty successful, so I'm doing it again. Comment away!:
