To The Edge (Stranger by the Lake/L'Inconnu du lac) for [personal profile] bironic

500 Miles (Pokemon Go) for [personal profile] such_heights

Content notes, process notes, download links, streaming links, etc. can be found at the vidposts.

And absternr made me this INCREDIBLE Hawkeye vid. If you haven't seen it yet -- run, don't walk.

I am VJing one vidshow and co-VJing another, and will happily take suggestions/premieres!

The first show I'm VJing is Lions and Tigers and Vids, Oh My!, a vidshow all about animals. One vid per animal (unless the vid has multiple animals, in which case a repeat is okay with me). I'm mostly looking for vids in the point of view of the animal, but I welcome any and all suggestions.

The one I'm co-VJing with [personal profile] milly is Game Plan, a sports vidshow! For this one, we're hoping to include both RPF sports and sources with a sports focus.

If you are interested in making a premiere for either of these vidshows, we would love that! You can comment here or message me or [personal profile] milly. Additionally, if you think you want to make a premiere but don't have any ideas, I have a giant list of sources/animals/sports that I'm sad there aren't vids for, so hit me up. If you have vid suggestions for either show, you can contact one of us personally or use the form on the website when it goes up.

Today was Festivids go-live day!! I still cannot believe I received six(!!!!!) absolutely wonderful vids. They all make me super happy and you should watch them immediately. <3

Batman - Adam West (1966)
Holy Dance Vid, Batman!
I am what I am
Kinky Neighbors

The Flash
The Scientist

Life After Beth
Love is Blue

Pit Bulls and Parolees
I'll be there for you

I've watched about a third of the vids so far, all over the alphabet (seriously -- my vid-watching group uses a number generator so we don't watch a billion vids for the same fandom in a row). Here are some of my favorites so far (that weren't made for me):

The Monster (Black Swan)
Lifesaver (The Cutting Edge)
Centuries (The Flash)
We're All In This Together (The Flash)
The Creationist (Good Eats)
Nothing But Time (Gravity)
Always A Good Time (Hansel And Gretel: Witch Hunters)
Moves Like Yaweh (Prince of Egypt)
Can't Stop (Romeo + Juliet)
I Could Be (Selfie)
Mirrors (Snow White and the Huntsman)

ETA: Forgot about Guess The Festividder! I made three vids. Can you guess them? You will win a thumbs up and an impressed facial expression from me if you can ping me for any. Here are your hints: One should be obvious for content, one should be obvious for style, and I'd never seen the third vid's source before it was requested for Festivids. None of them are sad (I realized today that I've literally never made a sad Festivid, so this is not really a hint, haha).

Maybe eventually I will also finally answer those vidding meme questions from like four months ago, or whenever that was. But I do this one every year, so here! I made seven vids this year, which I think is me finally leveling between ALL THE VIDS because I was new and cut slowly, and almost zero output because depression:

Run The World [Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.]
Applause [Don't Trust The B In Apartment 23]
Ride With Me [The Heat]

Dark Horse [The Amazing Spider-Man 2]

The Way We Get By [Broad City]
Problem [Jennifer's Body]

Rock Your Body [MCU]

Hi vidders! I have a poll/discussion post set up here about a new vidding challenge I'm going to run called Take 2. The general idea is to remake an old vid of yours -- Maybe you look back on a vid that you KNOW would look better (or just different) if you made it today, or maybe you have always been bothered by the fact that the clip of House and Wilson riding off into the sunset aired two years AFTER you made the House/Wilson vid of your heart. Whatever reason you have for wanting to remake that vid, here is your excuse to finally do it! More information is available at the post. Please feel free to spread the word!

Title: I Need A Hero (Part 2)
Author: [livejournal.com profile] elipie
Song: "I Need A Hero" by Graveworm
Summary: In which Abed kicks ass.
Notes: Premiered at [livejournal.com profile] vidukon (or at least I hope it did-- I wasn't there!). This is to a heavy metal version of a song on the Footloose soundtrack, so needless to say this should be taken very seriously. This is Part 2 to [livejournal.com profile] franzeska's premiere.

First of all, a big thank you to [livejournal.com profile] laura47 for encouraging me to start vidding and for telling me about [livejournal.com profile] festivids just in time for sign-ups. I really enjoyed working on both of these and now have three more vids in progress (plus a couple more ideas for when I finish those). Also thank you to [livejournal.com profile] laura47, [livejournal.com profile] ocelotspots, and [livejournal.com profile] broph07 for being my betas/personal cheerleaders for both of these. I guess the streaming doesn't work in some countries, but there are also download links for both.

Without further ado, the vids: )
